The Ikon IHP-6-36 is a countertop gas hot plate with 6 burners rated at 25,000 BTU each, 150,000 BTU total. Each burner sits under a heavy-duty 12" x 12" cast iron grate with a built-in aeration bowl that holds heat against the pot or pan, and each has its own manual gas control and standing pilot light.
The cabinet is all stainless steel with a cool-to-the-touch front edge, and the cast iron grates sit evenly against the stainless front ledge. A full-length seamless drip pan removes for cleaning, the pilot lights are adjustable, and the unit stands on adjustable stainless steel legs with non-skid feet. It can be serviced from the front.
The hot plate ships ready for a 3/4" NPT gas connection, with a conversion kit supplied for natural gas or LP; conversion should be done by an authorized Ikon service agent.
